So I believe it's been quite awhile since our last post. We are all doing well and quite excited about the prospect of our next adoption. We've turned our lives upside down to get ready for lovely #2. Last year we sold our house and found a house right next to the park that gives us so much more room to play and grow as a family. The only problem with the new house is that Grammy & Grandpa are not right next door, but we simply needed more space. We looked into adding an addition on to the old house, but it was going to cost more than it did to find a new bigger house with a garage. So we moved. We love the new house, and there's a room waiting for #2.
Liam is anxious to have a little sister, and we are so anxious for our little one to come home, but adoption is anything but short. The waiting game is still going as we finally started to save up the money, and we are beginning to delve into the various programs so that we know just where we are going. If anything about Liam's adoption taught us something, it was to be money conscious. We are going to go into this adoption realizing that it is in God's hands and that we should always save before spending money we do not have. I am hoping by the end of the year we'll be able to start the process, but it could be another year before we are ready financially. Our hearts are so ready! But we have to be smart and realize that as parents the needs of our family have to come before ourselves. So with that said we are working on it. Please continue to pray for us and for all the children waiting for their families to find them and bring them home. To our #2, we're on our way!
Our family has grown through adoption once before, and now we are setting out on our next journey to bring our daughter home.
